Thats right folks. Breaking news! Ferrari's are greener than Prius' according to Ferrari's CEO Amedeo Felisa. He states;
"The combined emissions of all Ferraris sold in a year are less than those of all Toyota Prius sold in a year. So the net effect of Ferrari on global warming is less than a Prius."
That means that I can go and buy my GTR back and rest assured that because I don't drive it much, its better than the majority of Prius'.
It looks like car manufacturers have made no great advances in fuel efficiency in the past half-century. Its not exactly shocking, no doubt they are all in bed with the oil companies anyway. The new Commodore is a perfect example of this. Lets give the average Aussie family a 6.0L V8 with 20" rims to drive the kids around... What a joke. And, as most Commodores are company cars for employee's that get tax benefits for the more they drive, its no doubt that our cars are contributing 14% of our carbon emissions.
Wake up Australia.
Reminds me of the Bentley dealership I walk past on the way to work that advertise their cars in the windows for between $400k and $600k and add 'Drive Away' to the signs! HAHAHA. Like anybody who has $600k to spend on a car gives a flying CRAP if it includes 'dealer and statutory charges'. What gimps.
